Issue on System Dependability
This special issue of the International Journal of International Journal of Critical Computer-Based Systems (IJCCBS - http://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=ijccbs) is open to reviewed/extended versions of regular papers and practical experience reports accepted and presented at the European Dependable Computing Conference (EDCC).
The title of this special issue is “System Dependability”, and will include latest research results on theory, techniques, systems, and tools for the design, validation, operation and evaluation of dependable and secure computing systems, targeting a variety of critical systems and applications like safety critical systems, embedded and real-time systems, cyber-physical systems, systems of systems and internet of things.
The authors of all accepted regular papers and practical experience reports will be invited to elaborate on their research topic and submit the results to the journal. Articles submitted to this special issue for possible publication must not be previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The new submitted article must be completely re-written wrt the previously accepted EDCC conference paper, and add at least 50% of new results/material. The aim is to have a new fluent paper that is different from the original one.
